Acampo - Solar + storage

120 panels. Six battery units. One coordinated property.

A large residential system spanning multiple structures with 120 solar panels, four Tesla Powerwall 3 units, and two Powerwall 3 expansion batteries.

Boonville - Solar + storage + generator

Backup that uses the generator only when it is needed.

Two FranklinWH batteries were added to an existing Enphase solar system and coordinated with the standby generator. During an outage, solar can recharge the batteries by day. If reserve reaches 20%, the generator starts, serves the home, and uses surplus output to charge storage. It shuts back down at 100%.

The captured system view showed 11.2 kW of generator output - 0.5 kW serving the home and 10.7 kW charging the batteries.

Whole-home battery backup

Four Tesla Powerwalls were installed to provide backup coverage for the loads served by a 400 A panel. The interconnecting wiring was concealed behind the cinderblock wall and routed underground to the main electrical equipment.

Livermore

Managed capacity without a main panel replacement

This site-specific design retained the 100 A service-side panel and supplied a 200 A main loads panel with a 225 A bus. The Tesla PCS import limit was set to 80 A, protecting the service-side limit while battery energy could support additional load-side demand.

About Gossett Electric

Gossett Electric is an owner-led electrical contractor based in Roseville. Cody works directly with customers on projects ranging from everyday residential electrical work to complex solar, storage, generator, and vehicle-power integrations.
